ShowAssist Debuts Referral Program as Thanks to Users for Sharing App with Friends

ShowAssist, the on-demand, short-term hiring app changing the way equestrians and support staff connect at horse shows, debuts their Referral Program for app users. Starting in January, users who refer a friend are entered into monthly drawings for a chance to win cash prizes and gifts from ShowAssist and program sponsors.

“We are happy to announce our new Referral Program for ShowAssist users,” said Deidre McAuley-Hayes, co-founder of ShowAssist. “We are people-centered and show-driven and we have made it our mission to help people in our sport get back to work. This program is our way of thanking users for continuing to help us achieve our mission by spreading the word about ShowAssist so that people can find support staff or jobs.”

The Referral Program is offered to all ShowAssist users with a complete profile. Through a short online form, users can register for the Referral Program. Users can then refer friends to post or apply for jobs through the app. When jobs are awarded and completed, referring users will be automatically entered into a monthly drawing for cash prizes and gifts awarded on the third Friday of each month. ShowAssist found the perfect partnership with Shapley’s Superior Equine Grooming Products, who will provide prizes for monthly drawings. As a sponsor of the Referral Program, Shapley’s will provide the monthly prizes awarded to ShowAssist users. “We give special thanks to our friends at Shapley’s for being one of the sponsors of our Referral program,” said McAuley-Hayes.

Shapley’s has provided generations of horsemen around the world with an extensive line of grooming products, including the original M-T-G, gentle shampoos, conditioners, oils and sprays.

“Shapley’s is pleased to take part and be a sponsor of ShowAssist,” said Sally Stith-Burdette, Shapley’s director of marketing. “We realized these times are tough for so many in our industry and are pleased to support ShowAssist as a way to match people up with jobs in the equine industry. Shapley’s always makes it a point to support fellow equestrians.”

Shapley’s has a longstanding reputation in the horse industry for producing superior equine grooming products that enable effective maintenance for horses across various riding disciplines. “Shapley’s is known for their kindness and their way of giving back in the industry by sponsoring Groom’s classes and presenting awards to hard working grooms,” said Malachi Hinton, ShowAssist co-founder.

A portion of all proceeds from ShowAssist will go to the Equestrian Aid Foundation and Show Jumping Relief Fund to support equestrians and support staff who have suffered from loss of income due to COVID-19 closures and cancellations.
