We were saddened to hear of the unexpected passing of Steve’s Guerdat’s 15 year old mare Albführen’s Bianca. Our hearts go out to Mr. Guerdat and all of those who loved this great horse. Here is Steve’s statement on his loss:
“My dear Bianca; My Queen; you left far too fast and my heart is bruised today. You’ve given us so much happiness these past few years this moment is cruel. Cruel because I wish I could have offered you a lot more. Cruel because you’re going to leave behind a huge emptiness. My heart goes hollow tonight because I miss you already. I tried today to fight for you and this nations cup victory is dedicated to you. You will join princess jalisca and from up there you will watch over us. Never thought I’d get the chance to ride a horse of your size and I’m so proud of you. Rest in peace.”
