Pour us a Guiness and call us Irish, because we’re unabashed Cian O’Connor fans up in here. The adorable dad, cheeky commentator and talented show jumper recently snagged a big win at the Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham, England aboard the darling Super Sox. (You may remember him as the regular ride for Lillie Keenan; Cian manages her yard and keeps her horses up on the regular. Hard worker much?)

It was an emotional and triumphant win for the rider, who dedicated the victory to his late mother.

“I was going for a walk this morning, and I thought back to my last time here two years ago, and I had to leave here after the second day because I got the very sad news that my mum had passed away,” Cian told the press. “My mum was always the type of person who would do anything for you, and I just thought I am going to win that grand prix tonight, and if I do, I will dedicate it to my mum.”

That’s as good as it gets, folks. Check out Horse Sport Ireland’s full press release and Watch this beautiful win below.
