Yes, I had to write that Great White took the “winning bite.” Couldn’t resist — especially with such a winning achievement. This was Great White’s first grand prix win! Daisy Farish and Great White swept the competition to win the Traverse City Spring Horse Show $72,900 Grand Prix CSI2* presented by Turtle Creek Hotel & Casino on June 28 to close out two weeks of fantastic competition before the start of Flintfields Horse Park’s next event, the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival.
On Great White, Daisy states, “We call him Bruce in the barn. He’s quite the character! We’ve had him for about five years now, so we have had a lot of firsts together throughout the years, firsts of mine and his since I got him as a 7 year old. This would be our first grand prix win! I’m lucky to have him and build that relationship with him.”
