Milton was one of the greats of show jumping. This week we take a look back at one of his iconic wins with John Whitaker in 1991. The best thing about this video is not the perfect form with which Milton jumps each massive jump, or the flair of his perfect white tail. No, the best thing is the crowd’s reaction to the famed horse– before he’s even jumped fence 1, he’s clearly the favorite. His adoring fans hold up signs reading MILTON and he is clearly the horse everyone wanted to win. And he did!
