There’s a lot to be thankful for this week: Our happy horses, our health, copious amounts of gravy, and of course the endless stream of world class show jumping every weekend of the year.

Things are mostly quiet stateside as the world slows down long enough to stuff ourselves silly and avoid talking politics with Uncle Dave, but across the pond, the five-star show triumphantly marches on in the beautiful capital city of Madrid.

Madrid Horse Week CSI5* and World Cup Qualifier

There are five FEI longines ranking classes this weekend with an FEI World Cup Jumping Qualifier on Sunday. Additionally, there will also be a premiere of “JumpingClash Challenge”, a head to head battle between riders in a bracket-type battle for glory. The final event will be broadcast live on Gol – we’ll provide a livestream link when one becomes available.

For the typical FEI classes, riders at the Madrid Horse Week will include your usual crowd of star-studded European FEI riders, and for the first time in a few weeks, will also have a handful of Americans on board: Katherine Dinan, Lauren Hough, Laura Kraut, Lillie Keenan, and Chloe Reid will all be onsite and ready to do battle on some of their best mounts.

The World Cup Qualifier class on Sunday will be aired on FEITV, which you can watch with an FEI subscription.
