Wellington, Florida (January 26, 2016) – Following exceptionally erratic weather over the first three weeks, The Ridge at Wellington has decided to move the location of fourth week of Turf Tour 2016 to Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, just two miles outside of Wellington. Classes will commence at 8am January 27 and 29, 2016, utilizing the grounds’ large covered and all weather schooling and competition areas in the event of rain.

Wednesday’s classes include two $2,400 1.30-135m Jumper classes, as well as Junior, Adult Amateur and Young Horse divisions. Friday features the $15,000 Grand Prix, as well as Schooling Jumpers, Child/Adult & Low Junior/Amateur Jumper divisions running in tandem with the Grand Prix.

The 13-week show series is a unique addition to Wellington’s growing winter circuit, offering riders top-tier competition, more than $400,000 in prize money, and an unparalleled atmosphere. Numerous perks greet riders, from a door-to-door equine shuttle service provided by Meadowbrook Transport and free breakfast and lunch for all competitors, to the natural turf footing and incredible host venues.
