Weekly Sales Circuit: Welsh Pony World

I have a soft spot for Welsh ponies.  They’re stout, cute little ponies that tend to come with fantastic jumping style.  At a barn I worked for way back in the past, we had a few Welsh ponies (a jumper and two hunters) who I got to ride, and though two were sassy, they all were a blast to ride.  These Welsh ponies are superstar hunters ready to enter your life!  They are from Texas, New York, and Pennsylvania.

First Edition Hm

2013 14.2h Welsh Pony gelding. ‘Teddie’ is talented large Welsh gelding by Fox Cry Limited Edition. His show record speaks for itself, closing out his green year as 2019 USHJA Zone 2 Champion in the Larges. Teddie was also in the top 25 in the model, over fences, and overall at Pony Finals 2019. He is qualified for Pony Finals 2020 in the regulars and is competitive in all types of company. Always finishes in the top of the model and under saddle. Brave to the fences with an easy lead change and adjustable stride. Great in the handy and medals too. Teddie could easily make a child the hands down winner in the Children’s and then step them up to the regulars. Push ride, minimal prep to get to the ring, will take a joke. Currently located in Oxford, PA.
