This weekend will be bittersweet: It’s the final stop on the Longines Global Champions Tour, and we’re just not ready to say goodbye! It will be five long winter months without watching warmbloods leap in front of the Eiffel Tower, or girls in bikinis taking arena selfies on Miami Beach.
While the battle waged on in the arenas across 12 cities, all was well and quiet back at the barn. Which is what this series is really about. The thrills and cheers and stress of the arena, juxtaposed with the quiet moments in the aisles with our horses, our grooms, our friends. Both are meaningful, both are magic.
