Peas and Carrots, Forrest and Jenny, Disco and Polyester, Horses and Dogs. For as long as people have been domesticating horses, they’ve been trailed by a dog looking for hoof clippings and the grossest possible thing to roll in while your back is turned.
Honoring this age-old tradition, Grand Prix rider Michael Tokaruk of Tokaruk Stables is rarely seen without canine matriarch, Alice, who is a rescue dog, “part mountain goat”, and good luck charm at every show circuit they attend.
Who run the world? Alice. Here’s proof:
