IT’S HERE! Nations Cup Finals Week is one of our most favorite events of the year to cover – it’s months of buildup, years of history, decades of work for the horses and riders to arrive at this moment. And each year, it is truly absolutely anyone’s tournament to win. Team USA has been on a great nations cup hot streak this year, but with a clean slate the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, they’ll proving themselves all over again.
I spent some personal time in Barcelona myself earlier this year, and you couldn’t ask for a prettier backdrop for equestrian glory. They’ve taken incredible care of all their historic Olympic facilities, the city is pristine and friendly, and the Polo field is really something else.
