What’s going on this week in the world of horse shows? There is a nice mix of big competitions and lower-key shows as the year draws to a close. In the US, there are smaller shows at Old Salem Farm, Fox Lea Farm in Florida, and Swan Lake’s Holiday Jumpers. A and AA shows abound, from the first week of the Cheryl and Co. A show in Folsom, LA to Desert Holiday AA at Thermal, to HITS Ocala Holiday A, to the St. Louis Winter Festival A, to WEC Ocala, to…well, you get it. There is A LOT going on!
At the FEI level, we have everything from a big 5* at Thermal during the Desert Holiday show, a 4* in Wellington and France, a 3* in Spain, and a ton of 2* and 1* all over the place, including three world cups, in Brazil, Japan, and New Zealand.
