The beautiful city of Cascais, Portugal played host to the eighth stop of the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League this past weekend and the competition was hot at the seaside location. The Paris Panthers rose to the challenge, bringing home the win in both rounds of the Global Champions League while Nicola Philippaerts swooped in and secured his place in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix at the end of the season.
Between a drop-dead gorgeous venue, stunning horses and some of the world’s top equestrian athletes all in one place, Cascais had a lot to offer equestrian fans from all over the globe. Check out some of our favorite images from the weekend’s competition and prepare yourself for the next leg of the tour June 28th through the 30th in Monaco.
