If you’re utterly bummed to be missing the Olympics because you cut the cable cord, we have a deliriously adorable alternative that streams good and free all day every day until Sunday! The U.S. Pony Finals are on the USEF Network, and it’s a full on overdose of adorable.
But as we much as we like to “aww” and “squee!” at the large and small ponies, the talent that these young riders and their ponies possess is genuinely impressive, and more than a few of the world’s leading grand prix riders today got their start in the pony divisions. Certainly, ponies are a very powerful gateway drug.
As we reported earlier toady, Mimi Gochman is curretly leading the high point pack aboard Storyteller in the Large Ponies Division, and So Enchanted and Caroline Passarelli Swept the Small Green Pony Hunter Model and Under Saddle on First Day of U.S. Pony Finals.
