No cure for the cold winter blues like a dip in the vicarious pond of the winter show circuit, am I right? Or, at the very least, a cozy and lavish indoor event such as that being hosted in the wintery Alps in Zurich, Switzerland. I think we all agree we’d happily settle for any of the above, really. Let’s get to the rundown!
Winter Equestrian Festival
All your favorites in one state. Lucy Davis, Mclain Ward, Beezie Madden, and Kent Farrington are all at the Winter Equestrian Festival for the foreseeable future campaigning some of their veterans and many of their up and coming horses. This weekend will feature the first of the CSI4* classes in Welly, and it’s going to be a spectacular show.

Mercedes CSI5*, Zurich
Another five-star, another chance for FEI riders to win cars (We’re looking at you, Bertram Allen). All the big names will be out in force at the stunning Swiss venue, and though we’re sorry to say there doesn’t seem to be an English version of their website, that shouldn’t stop you from making a quick visit to AT LEAST their Facebook Page, because:
They just do things differently in Switzerland. I think that covers it.
